Monument Selective Post-Emergent Herbicide

Active Ingredient:  Trifloxysulfuron-sodium
Type :                      Emulsion Concentrate

Packing:
20x100ml bottles per case (this liquid formulation available in China only);
10x100ml bottles per case (this liquid formulation packing available in Vietnam only);
4x250 grams/case (this wettable granule, or WG formulation available in Hong Kong & Macao only)

Features:

  • The active ingredient (a.i.) of MONUMENT® is trifloxysulfuron-sodium, a systemic herbicide which blocks the biosynthesis of three essential amino acids which are essential for protein synthesis in many plants
  • MONUMENT® is a selective herbicide for control of certain weeds in established turf after they have emerged, including yellow nutsedge and purple nutsedge as well as crabgrass, poa annua, and many broadleaf weeds. MONUMENT® also controls or suppresses torpedograss.
  • MONUMENT® can only be used on bermudagrass and zoysiagrass
  • MONUMENT® can remove overseeded perennial ryegrass and poa trivialis to optimize spring transition
  • MONUMENT® is taken up rapidly by target plants, and is effective at extremely low use rates

Monument Liquid Guidance Application Rates:
For sedges (yellow and purple nutsedge, green kyllinga): 150ml/ha
For grasses and broadleaf weeds (torpedograss, poa annua, crabgrass, oxalis, dandelion, white clover): 115-300 ml/ha

Monument WG Guidance Application Rates:
For sedges (yellow and purple nutsedge, green kyllinga): 25 grams/ha
For grasses and broadleaf weeds (torpedograss, poa annua, crabgrass, oxalis, dandelion, white clover): 25-40 grams/ha

Monument Application & Effectiveness (both formulations):
Apply 1-2 days before or immediately after mowing.  Several days after application, the leaves of the target plant will begin to turn color, and death occurs within 1-4 weeks.  Sequential application 4-6 weeks after initial application is recommended for dense stands of sedges and broadleaf weeds

Meridian Contact & Systemic Insecticide

Active Ingredient:   Thiamethoxam
Type:                        Emulsion Concentrate

Packing :
6x1-litre bottles per case (this liquid formulation available in China only);
12x500 grams/case (this wettable powder, or WP, formulation available in Vietnam, Hong Kong & Macau only)

Features:

  • The active ingredient (a.i.) of MERIDIAN® is thiamethoxam, which interferes with an insect’s central nervous system, causing excitation of the nerves and eventual paralysis.  Feeding stops within hours, and death of insects occurs within 24-48 hours
  • MERIDIAN® is a broad-spectrum insecticide that is effective by both contact and ingestion against many sucking and chewing insect pests
  • MERIDIAN® is readily absorbed into and distributed through plant tissues, and rain-fast once it has dried, providing excellent residual control of foliar feeding insects
  • MERIDIAN® controls surface and sub-surface insects by both contact and ingestion when applied to soil, and is also readily taken up by plant roots
  • Application of MERIDIAN® is most effective on white-grub larvae when applied before the 3rd instar

Meridian Liquid Application Rates:

Types of Plants or Range Control Targets Application Rate Application Method
Ornamental Chrysanthemum Aphid

2000 – 4000 times liquid,

30-50ml per plant

Root irrigation when aphid starts growing
Ornamental Rose Thrip 15-20ml/mu Foliar spray when thrips starts growing
Depends on the insect situation, can apply after 7 – 10 days for the second time.

Meridian Wettable Powder Application Rate:

  • For control of insects both subsurface (larvae of white grubs) and surface (billbugs, chinch bugs, green June beetle, European chafer, Japanese beetle, and black turfgrass ataenius [BTA], and suppression of mole crickets):  0.8-1.2kg/ha
  • Apply MERIDIAN® when adult beetle flight coincides with peak egg laying
  • High degree of bio-availability helps MERIDIAN® to work in drier conditions
  • When trying to control white grubs, wash in MERIDIAN® after application with only 6 mm of irrigation water
